Allons-y! by StarlightWhispers Allons-y! by StarlightWhispers
Gah~ It's official. Well, it's been official for quite a while, but now I will openly admit it: I am a David Tennant fangirl. :iconbegplz:

Just...not the rabid, foaming-at-the-mouth, kill-you-if-you-even-mention-him sort of fangirl...no, never one of those. :XD:

Tennant is just an amazing actor. Thanks to theater class and my theater teacher, I can hardly watch a show or a play without analyzing the actors' methods and subtle messages in their body language. David Tennant expresses so much in his eyes that its crazy. I could go on, but the point is, I now think that he is one of the greatest living actors.

.....

Not that this chibi shows any of that. :p

Drew this mostly during Spanish class on notebook paper then digitalized when I got home. Hope you like it!

I had a great deal of fun with the light from the sonic screwdriver. :XD:

Haha, thanks. ^^ Just a lot of practice and doodling. Studying how other people draw and trying out new styles doesn't hurt either. :)

I absolutely agree with you about his acting. I was stunned how good his acting was when I started to watch him in Doctor Who. And then watched him in some other roles and was amazed how good he is in transformation from one character to another. He is my favourite Hamlet now. Still I like him best as the Doctor. And I'm also 'normal' fangirl if that's possible. I care about his brilliant expressive energetic acting not so much his private life. BTW I didn't favour this 'cos I'm not fan of chibis but I like how you've done suit and sonic.

Same here. ^^ Though I have to admit, I was thrilled to hear that he has a little baby girl now. I normally don't care about going into celebrities personal lives, but I just thought that was so sweet. :)

I've still yet to see all of Hamlet, but I've seen a few scenes and he is just amazing. I don't understand how it's possible. David Tennant was most certainly born to be an actor...and the Doctor.

Um.....Spoilers? Sorry um yeah Moffat announced that Amy and Rory will be leaving by a tearful goodbye( for me tears of joy!)But, so you haven't seen the wedding of River song? It's pretty good, I liked it, but hey I like River Song and the Doctor, so it's a bonus for me whenever they are in an episode together(though not to happy that Moffat made her Amy's kid). If you haven't caught on yet, I am NOT an Amy fan.

Haha, I'm not a River fan. XD At all. Amy was okay. Didn't absolutely love her, but I really adored Rory. He's just too adorable and awesome when he's defending Amy.

I probably said it before, but I really wished that Amy and Rory had been able to raise Melody like a family should. They just kind of lost that chapter in their life. :\

Awe your not a River fan :(. Oh well, it doesn't matter, your right though Rory and Amy did miss out on practicaly their whole daughter's life! I bet they won't have any more kids, because of River's predicament or life , or whatever. Now if Moffat didn't make River their Daughter, none of this mental scarring would have happened :). Yeah, I'm just mad at Moffat for making River their daughter. By the way I like Rory too, just don't like Amy and how she's kinda mean to him.

I completely agree with your opinions on his acting. I'm not a person to get "fangirlish" either, but I just can't believe how talented he is. It's really just fantastic. Lots of subtle acting motions, great expressions, and he gets very into his characters . . . it's just amazing to watch.

On the other hand, brilliant little chibi! I love the pose and the glare of the sonic. Amazing!

I know! I'm really not normally fangirly at all, but I just can't help it with him! :XD: His acting is just so amazing. I can't even begin to explain how talented he is. He's so expressive and emotional without overdoing it and even the smallest, tiniest things he does while acting are powerful.

And thanks! :D The sonic was a bit hard to do, but it was fun. Though I think perhaps I made it too bright. :p

I completely concur. Well, I could go on and on about his acting, but last time I started, I didn't stop talking for 45 minutes straight, so I don't think we should get into that again . . . ;)

No, I think the sonic's perfect. It goes with the comical exaggeration of the whole thing. It fits!

Well, it wasn't all about him--it was about the Hamlet movie in general, and its relationship to the book. But then, it strayed back to him a lot . . . Actually, I might be doing a study unit on that where I have to compare the book to the movie . . . I kind of wish I'd recorded it! Ah, well, we'll see.

Yes, it's very good!

Oh, did they? No one's into Shakespeare around here; there's no chance of us doing that. I doubt we'll ever even study it. It depends on the class, I suppose. If ever we do get to study that, and do our reenactments, I'm playing Hamlet. No question. I know all the lines already.

But you must see this version. IT WAS ONE OF THE MOST BRILLIANT THINGS I'VE EVER SEEN. I was crying at the end, I swear.
